A few words about myself
My name is Richard Persen, and I'm the owner and manager of rpersen.no. Currently I live in Oslo togheter with my girlfriend. I'm employed with Norgesgruppen, one of the biggest companies in Norway, where I'm working as a Systems Developer developing J2EE web-applications.
Some of my interests includes web usability, design, development and technology in general, and these are the topics that I'll try to write about on this site (see about the site). I'm also trying to keep active with fencing, swimming and diving whenever I have the time. Apart from that I like reading, movies, music, cooking and travelling.
As for personality, I suppose that I'm a pretty patient and outward going person that is not to afraid of new situations. But when that is said, I'm not the kind of person that exposes myself to much on the first meeting. This is because I like to judge the situation before jumping in. Humor, honesty and loyalty are some of the qualities I find most important in people, and arrogance is one of the worst qualities one can posess.
